So our 2008 Toyota Prius is starting to break I think. This, as a petrolhead and enthusiast, is great news, but now it's looking like we might need to buy a new or "new" car. Well I'll be happy if it's anything but a Hybrid.

The issue is my step dad is really anti-diesel for some stupid reason. I have been preaching diesel since before we got the stupid thing.

I have and it's always some stupid reason like "it costs too much." That is the lamest reason not to buy a diesel. I guess you don't want 48 mpg.

LOL where I am, diesel is 30 cents more /gallon than 87 octane unleaded... but the gas mileage offsets the difference! Tell him that!
